We will begin our adventure early by picking you up from your hotel to start this incredible tour. We will travel by train to the Inca Trail checkpoint at Km 82.
Afterward, we will have lunch in Miskay. The hike begins, passing through the archaeological site of Patallacta and finally arriving at Wayllabamba. Here, we’ll set up camp and rest for the night.

In the morning, we will begin our hike toward the Warmiwañuska Pass (Dead Woman’s Pass). Here, we will take a break to enjoy the stunning landscapes. Afterward, we will descend to Pacaymayo for lunch and to recharge. We will spend the night in tents at Pacaymayo, known as the coldest camp on the trail.

After breakfast, we will continue our hike and prepare to ascend the second pass, Runcurakay Pass, where we will visit an archaeological site. After a brief walk, we will arrive at Sayacmarca, a significant site renowned for its architecture, where we will have lunch. We will continue observing the vegetation and geography of the area, which becomes increasingly dry and mountainous.
We will pass through tunnels carved into solid rock as we head toward the city in the clouds, Puyupatamarca. Inca Trail tours offer the opportunity to marvel at the intricate stonework and terraces that stand as a testament to the engineering prowess of the Incas. This enigmatic site is often shrouded in dense fog, enhancing its mysterious allure. We will continue our journey to Wiñayhuayna, descending to an altitude of 8,858 feet above sea level. Here, we will find fascinating Inca terraces, known as andenes, along with sacred and urban areas that showcase the grandeur of this ancient civilization. We’ll enjoy a cup of tea before dinner.

Early in the morning, we will begin our journey to Machu Picchu. We will continue our hike to Inti Punku, where we will witness the sunrise. From this incredible vantage point, you will enjoy your first glimpse of Machu Picchu. At Machu Picchu, we will take a guided tour of the entire citadel. After this unforgettable experience, we will return to the Ollantaytambo station, where our team will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.
